Identity selection upon expiration of five years 📋

- 1. Applying for citizenship and obtaining a Dutch passport: The Netherlands supports dual citizenship, but China does not recognize dual citizenship. After successfully obtaining a Dutch passport, the original Chinese citizenship will automatically become invalid, and applicants need to make careful choices.

- 2. Maintain permanent residency status without naturalization: Only obtain Dutch permanent residency status without applying for a Dutch passport, and can retain Chinese nationality. Chinese passport must be used for entry and exit to all countries.

Conditions for naturalization application ✅

The overall application process takes about one year from submission of materials to completion of approval, and all of the following requirements must be met:

- 1. Holding a valid legal residence card for five years or more;

- 2. Having a legal residential address in the Netherlands;

- 3. No criminal record, personal background does not pose a threat to public order;

- 5. From the third year of residence, you can apply for the Dutch language exam, with a total of 4 exam opportunities; If it fails multiple times, the immigration office will determine it as an objective language barrier and automatically exempt it from the examination, without affecting the naturalization approval.

Application Process 📝

（1） Prepare and submit a complete set of application documents

- 1. The household registration book, marriage certificate (not required for unmarried individuals), and birth certificate for children under 18 years old all need to be notarized in both Chinese and English, and certified by both the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Dutch Embassy;

- 2. Provide copies of the family's passport photo page, front and back of the ID card, as well as copies of the applicant's resume of high school education and work, highest education certificate, and personal honor certificate (if any);

- 3. Sign Hong Kong company service agreement and law firm regulatory guarantee agreement;

- 4. Transfer the first project fee to the Hong Kong company account.

（2） Approved MVV entry visa

- 1. After submitting the necessary documents, the MVV entry visa issued by the Dutch immigration office can be approved in about 2 weeks. Holders of the visa can enter the Netherlands within 3 months;

- 2. The whole family went to the Dutch Embassy in China to complete registration, take photos, and enter fingerprint information;

- 3. Simultaneously transfer the second project fee to the Hong Kong company account;

- 4. You can choose to wait for the notification of obtaining the license in China, or go to the Netherlands for tourism inspection at your own expense and wait for the approval results.

（3） Enter and log in to obtain a residence card

- 1. After completing fingerprint and image capture, we will receive a notification from the Dutch immigration office to collect our five-year residence card within about 2 weeks;

- 2. The whole family will go to the Amsterdam Immigration Office in the Netherlands to collect their residence permits, complete the physical examination, open a local bank card, and other landing procedures simultaneously;

- 4. Settle the remaining balance to the Hong Kong company account;
